Start Half

It was always likely that this was going to be one of the most entertaining matches of the weekend but few would have expected so many goals. Swansea City were pedestrian in the first half, particularly from crosses and set pieces, and paid the price, going in at half-time 3-0 down. Whatever Michael Laudrup told them at half-time must have had its desired effect as the Swans quickly reduced the deficit to 3-2. A delightful Robert Snodgrass free-kick essentially ended the game as a contest, despite Michu's late consolation, and Norwich City will be delighted to emerge from the game with their first away win in eight months.
Howard Webb blows the final whistle. Full time: Swansea City 3 Norwich City 4.
Routledge's cross finds Schechter but his looping header goes on the top of the net.
Michu heads in at the far post to set up a frantic finish in south Wales! One minute of injury time left.
Michu scores! 4-3!
Norwich are making another change in stoppage time. Steven Whittaker, scorer of the Canaries' first goal, is making way for Leon Barnett.
Angel Rangel's rash challenge on Steve Morison sees him go into the book. Frustration is now the overriding emotion for the home side but the damage was done long before their mini-comeback in the second half.
Chico Flores advances from his centre back position to take a shot at goal from 30 yards but it is highly ambitious and dips over the crossbar.
This is going to be Norwich's first away win of the season and the Liberty Stadium is a great place to get it. Swansea have only lost once at home this season prior to today - a 3-0 defeat to Fulham.
A lovely flowing move from the hosts ends in Nathan Dyer threading a fantastic angled pass through to Michu. The Spanish forward though slots the ball just wide.
Norwich City are making a change. Grant Holt, who has led the line well today, departs. Welsh international Steve Morison is on.
That goal has knocked the stuffing out of Swansea, who were on a charge. Nathan Dyer attempts a long-range effort from 30 yards but it lacks conviction and squirts a long way wide.
Robert Snodgrass stood over the resulting free-kick and, from 20 yards out, bent a beautifully directed shot into the bottom left-hand corner of Tremmel's goal. That could be game over.
4-2 to Norwich! Robert Snodgrass!
Swansea captain Ashley Williams goes into the book for pulling back Grant Holt, who was racing towards goal. Holt wanted to see a red card as he thought Williams was the last man.
Ashley Williams nodded De Guzman's corner kick back into the six yard box and Bunn spilled the ball. Schechter put the ball into the net but it was ruled out for a push by Michu on the goalkeeper.
Norwich are sitting very deep and allowing Swansea possession of the ball in the middle third, only closing down the ball when the likes of Michu have possession closer to the penalty area. For the moment, it seems to be working and Swansea's charge has been halted.
It's Swansea's first change. The returning Danny Graham is replaced by the so-far goalless Itay Schechter.
Norwich have just launched their first counter attack of the half but Wes Hoolahan's cross was relatively harmless. Hoolahan controlled the midfield in the first half but since half-time he has been anonymous.
Swansea have had almost 80% of possession in the second half and Norwich have so far had no answer to their relentless pressure. Swansea's dangermen - Nathan Dyer, Michu and Wayne Routledge - are seeing much more of the ball, and the results are clear to see.
Nathan Dyer's cross is half-dealt with by Russell Martin but the ball falls to the on-rushing de Guzman who volleys into the back of the net. It really is game on now.
Jonathan De Guzman! It's now Swansea 2 Norwich 3!
Ki sets Davies free down Swansea's left but his cross is just a fraction overhit and Routledge can't jump high enough to connect with the ball. Ideally, Swansea would have favoured Michu in that position.
Danny Graham gets in behind Norwich's defence but his low left-footed shot is easily saved by Bunn.
Norwich have not won away from home in the Premier League since March. It may have looked like that run was about to end but this is now one major test for Chris Hughton and his side.
There is a sense of expectation spreading around the Liberty Stadium now. Nathan Dyer wins a free-kick deep in Norwich territory but De Guzman's delivery is plucked out of the air by Bunn.
Michu sweeps the ball in from the edge of the six yard area after Ben Davies' cross. Is that game on?
Michu! Swansea pull one back. 3-1.
Bradley Johnson almost stretches Norwich's lead with an outstanding volley from inside Swansea's area but it cannons the bar.
Neither side has made any changes at half-time. You would expect it won't be long until Michael Laudrup turns to the likes of Luke Moore or Itay Schechter.
We're off again at the Liberty Stadium. Can Swansea turn this around?
It's a disastrous first half for Swansea. After all the pre-match talk of potential Champions League qualification, the Swans looked more like relegation fodder - particularly at set pieces. The hosts haven't been at their fluid best with the ball either with Norwich remaining rigid in defence and taking full advantage when the opportunity arises. Michael Laudrup will have to make changes at half-time if he is to have any chance of saving this match.
Howard Webb calls time on a miserable half for Swansea. It's Swansea 0 Norwich 3.
Ki directs the free-kick over the wall but straight into the hands of a grateful Mark Bunn.
Russell Martin goes into the book after catching Michu 20 yards out. Late chance for Swansea.
Wayne Routledge fouled Robert Snodgrass in the final third, giving Norwich another set piece opportunity. Snodgrass whipped the free-kick in himself and Holt was left completely unmarked to direct another hefty header into the back of the net.
Grant Holt! 3-0 to Norwich City!
Bassong had stayed up after a set piece opportunity moments earlier and, having connected with Holt's hanging cross from the left hand side, directed a bullet header inside Tremmel's near post. That's a hammer blow to Swansea, so close to half-time.
It's in! Sebastien Bassong! 2-0 to Norwich!
And that was nearly the equaliser. Michu's speculative long-range shot looks goal-bound but the ball hits Wayne Routledge and goes out for a goal kick. The deflection had wrong-footed Bunn and it could have easily sneaked in.
Danny Graham has looked threatening in the past ten minutes. Not only has he hit the crossbar but he's been close to getting on the end of through balls, first from Michu and then from Nathan Dyer. You feel that a goal is not too far away.
Rangel gets free on Swansea's right side again to drift another cross into the box. Michu makes a late run to get on the end of it but his diving header is glanced a fair way wide of Bunn's goal.
A delightful, clever cross from De Guzman picks out Danny Graham but his looping header comes back off the top of the bar. It's a let-off for Norwich.
Robert Snodgrass jinks in off the right hand flank and gets a shot in on goal but it's weak and straight at Tremmel.
Swansea had had much of the ball before Whittaker's goal but Norwich have grown in confidence since going ahead. Wes Hoolahan has been pulling the strings for Hughton's men who are winning the midfield battle at the moment.
Jonathan de Guzman strikes a free-kick from 30 yards out but it doesn't have the elevation and hits the Canaries defensive wall. The Liberty Stadium faithful are getting a little bit restless.
That goal won't change how Swansea City will approach this match. They are continuing to exhibit their patient style of play but so far Norwich are coping very well.
Whittaker stormed into the box before finishing confidently with his right foot despite several defenders being nearby. Not many people expected that start.
Steven Whittaker breaks into the box and finishes well! 1-0 to Norwich City!
Jonny Howson dummies a pass to the right before striking the ball against the post from 20 yards out. Moments later, Javier Garrido's cross is spilled by Tremmel but Holt can't bundle the ball in and the German goalkeeper regathers.
Davies receives a diagonal ball before touching the ball inside to Graham. Graham spins brilliantly but blazes his shot over Bunn's bar. It's been a lively start from both teams.
Grant Holt looks a lonely figure up front for the visitors but Bradley Johnson attempts to slide one in for him behind the Swans defence. Holt is unlikely to have the pace to get onto those balls.
Swansea are showing early signs that they are prepared to be patient to break down this Canaries backline. A cross from Rangel eventually comes in but Graham's weak header is off target.
Norwich's Robert Snodgrass whips in an early corner and Bradley Johnson gets a header on target but Tremmel reacts well to beat the ball away.
Referee Howard Webb gets us underway at the Liberty Stadium. Swansea are in their normal all-white home kit while Norwich wear their all-black change strip.
Meanwhile there's no room for Ryan Bennett or Alexander Tettey in Norwich's line-up. Russell Martin and Jonny Howson come in for Chris Hughton's men.
As expected, Pablo Hernandez and Michel Vorm miss out for Swansea but Wayne Routledge returns to the starting XI. That could give Michu a more advanced role alongside another incoming player - last season's top scorer Danny Graham.
Mark Bunn; Steven Whittaker, Javier Garrido, Sebastien Bassong, Russell Martin; Anthony Pilkington, Wes Hoolahan, Jonathan Howson, Bradley Johnson, Robert Snodgrass; Grant Holt. Bench: Declan Rudd, Simeon Jackson, David Fox, Leon Barnett, Elliott Bennett, Marc Tierney, Steve Morison.
Gerhard Tremmel; Angel Rangel, Chico Flores, Ashley Williams, Ben Davies; Wayne Routledge, Jonathan de Guzman, Sung-Yueng Ki, Nathan Dyer; Michu, Danny Graham. Bench: David Cornell, Dwight Tiendalli, Garry Monk, Kemy Agustien, Kyle Bartley, Itay Shechter, Luke Moore.
Howard Webb takes charge of today's game, and having awarded 39 yellow cards in the ten matches he has taken charge of this season, both sides will be wise to watch their tackles - that ratio is the second highest in the Premier League.
The Canaries have been boosted by the news that Sebastien Bassong will be fit to start the match in south Wales. Bassong has shaken off a minor knock gained in the dying embers of last weekend's victory over Sunderland. Mark Bunn, who helped to keep the Black Cats at bay in that match, keeps his place in goal with first choice goalkeeper John Ruddy expected to be missing until well into the new year.
Swansea have decided not to risk Michel Vorm and Pablo Hernandez who miss out with groin and thigh problems, respectively. Vorm is back in training but not ready to return to first team action, meaning Gerhard Tremmel, who has deputised admirably in recent weeks, will continue between the sticks. After his two-goal salvo at Arsenal last week, Swans supporters will be hoping sought-after forward Michu can pick up where he left off.
This afternoon's meeting between Swansea City and Norwich City at the Liberty Stadium sees two of the Premier League's surprise packages meet. The Swans were widely expected to struggle having lost former manager Brendan Rodgers to Liverpool in the summer but Michael Laudrup has built on Rodgers' good work. The Dane's side are six matches unbeaten and that run has led City to within three points of the Champions League places. Having lost Paul Lambert, Norwich City too have had to deal with managerial upheaval but Chris Hughton has steadied the Canaries who are seven points away from the relegation zone. Norwich haven't won away from Carrow Road all season - but have drawn their last four on their travels and are unbeaten in nine in all competitions.
